Steven Gerrard threw it back to 2005-06 on Saturday night.

After missing a penalty kick only five minutes into the LA Galaxy's 5-2 beating of Real Salt Lake, Gerrard redeemed himself and then some in second-half stoppage time, leaving Utah's entire defensive unit for dead with a lethal cut and cool finish.

The goal marked Gerrard's first of the Major League Soccer season.
