Utility infielder Steve Tolleson is sticking around in the American League East.
The 32-year-old agreed to a minor-league deal with the Baltimore Orioles on Monday. The deal includes an invitation to spring training.
Tolleson spent the past two seasons with the Toronto Blue Jays, hitting .256/.313/.384 with three home runs, 12 doubles, and 58 strikeouts in 128 games. He appeared at second, third, shortstop, left and right field, while also pitching on a pair of occasions.
Former Blue Jays general manager Alex Anthopoulos called out Tolleson in August, accusing the infielder of quitting on the team earlier in the season.
