VIDEO: Mets' Colon wows with incredible behind-the-back flip
Eric Hartline / USA TODAY Sports
Bartolo Colon often finds himself featured on blooper reels after he takes the mound, but he shocked the baseball world Saturday night with one of the top defensive plays of the year.
The veteran New York Mets righty, who isn't known for his athleticism, perfectly executed a behind-the-back flip on a dribbler down the first-base line in the sixth inning to retire Miami's Justin Bour.
Colon's bloopers - especially those at the plate - are must-see TV.
The 42-year-old hurler weighs in at 285 pounds and he isn't afraid to show it, as evidenced by his infamous belly-jiggle celebration from last year.
