Jimenez's contract was acquired by the LG Twins of Korea's KBO, Pete Abraham of the Boston Globe reports.
Jimenez appeared in 16 games this season for the Brewers and Red Sox, going 1-for-16 with six strikeouts and a walk. He also struggled for Triple-A Pawtucket, hitting .140 in 14 games. The LG Twins are in search of their first title since 1994.
