With that, the Toronto Blue Jays and Washington Nationals will be forced to play a doubleheader Tuesday after the game was called due to inclement weather in the region.
Scheduled starters R.A. Dickey and Jordan Zimmermann, who were expected to pitch on Monday, will have their starts pushed back a day.
On the season, Dickey owns a 2-5 record to go with a 5.77 ERA in 10 starts. Zimmermann, meanwhile, carries a 4-2 record and a 3.26 ERA in 10 starts.
