The more games Alex Rodriguez plays at Tropicana Field, the quicker he will pass Babe Ruth on the all-time home run list.
A-Rod hit his eighth homer of the year, 662nd of his career, and third in his last four games at Tropicana Field with a towering, 428-foot blast off Tampa Bay Rays right-hander Alex Colome in the first inning of Monday's series opener.
Colome's 95-mph fastball exited the yard at a batted ball velocity of 110 mph, according to MLB Statcast.

Rodriguez, who hit the longest home run of the MLB season with a 471-foot moonshot at Tropicana Field last month, is now 52 homers shy of tying Ruth for third on the career leaderboard.
