The Houston Astros were courting free-agent pitcher Ryan Vogelsong this winter, but something happened to deter him from the joining the club and rejoin the San Francisco Giants.
Vogelsong revealed during an introductory press conference that he wasn't comfortable in Houston while visiting with the Astros, and that he felt a huge weight off his shoulders once he re-engaged in contract talks with his former team, the Giants.
Vogelsong said to the radio hosts 10 years from now over beer he’d tell them all about his offseason, and they’ll go “No way that happened"

The right-hander is clearly holding some juicy gossip back, which should come to light one day when he retires.
Vogelsong inked a one-year, $4-million deal with San Francisco on Friday.
