Rangers' Holland (head) scratched from start vs. A's
Texas Rangers pitcher Derek Holland (head) will not start Sunday's season finale, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.
Analysis:
Holland was originally scheduled to start Saturday, but was scratched due to a migraine headache. There was a chance he would take the hill in Sunday's finale, but Nick Martinez will instead receive the starting nod. Holland ended up making five September starts for the Rangers in 2014, turning in a 1.31 ERA and 1.02 WHIP over 34.1 innings.
