Marlins' Jennings diagnosed with concussion after being struck in head by line drive
The Miami Marlins received some relatively good news following a terrifying injury to reliever Dan Jennings on Thursday night.

Jennings was struck in the head by a Jordy Mercer line drive (see video in stack below) late in the Pittsburgh Pirates' 7-2 victory over the Marlins. The left-hander appeared dazed after receiving the blow to the head and needed to be carted off the field.
Concerned players from both teams took to Twitter to reach out to Jennings:
Everyone please take a moment to pray for @LtDanJennings , & wish him a speedy recovery
