Rays' Longoria sets franchise RBI record

Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Evan Longoria made history Tuesday night with his 12th home run of the season.
Longoria solo homer in the 9th - and we have a new career RBI leader! Evan (593) passes Carl Crawford (592).

It took Crawford 4,992 at-bats to set the initial record and Longoria only 3,366 to surpass him.
Longoria also holds the all-time franchise home run record with 174 blasts.
The Rays prevailed 7-2 over the St. Louis Cardinals to win their sixth straight contest.
