Los Angeles Angels phenom Mike Trout cemented his name in the team record books Thursday night with his second hit of the game vs. the Texas Rangers.
@Trouty20 becomes fastest player in club history to reach 500 hits (423 games) besting Garret Anderson's previous mark of 428 games.

Trout's RBI single in the second inning helped the Halos build a convincing 10-2 lead over the Rangers after two frames. He added a three-run homer an inning later to give the Angels a 13-2 advantage.
This is more than likely only one of many records the 22-year-old slugger will break throughout his career, barring a serious injury at some point.
