Chacin admitted after Saturday's game that he's concerned about his lack of arm strength, the Denver Post reports. "I really don't know what's wrong with my arm. I can't get strong," Chacin said. "Even if I throw extra hard, I can get one (pitch), but then I can't throw the next one hard."

The Brewers hammered Chacin for seven runs over 5.2 innings Saturday, dropping him to 1-7 on the year and pushing his ERA up to 5.40. Chacin's fastball velocity is down close to two miles per hour from a season ago (from 89.8 mph to 88.1), but manager Walt Weiss said the right-hander does not have any pain and the Rockies really don't have anywhere else to turn for a starting pitcher. A shoulder strain cost Chacin the first month of the season.
