After a pair of electrifying games, the College World Series will be decided on Wednesday night in Omaha.
Tuesday's 7-2 win by the Virginia Cavaliers forced a deciding Game 3, which will see one of the teams claim their first ever College World Series title.
Here are three things you need to know about Wednesday night's game.
Winner takes all
Wednesday's tilt marks the first time a winner-takes-all Game 3 will be played since the event moved to TD Ameritrade Park in 2011. There hasn't been a three-game series since 2009, when LSU beat Texas at Rosenblatt Stadium.
The Commodores came close to sealing the series in two games on Tuesday night, but starter Tyler Beede got roughed up in the sixth, turning a 2-1 lead into a 6-1 deficit.
All-or-nothing games are notoriously unpredictable, and the entire World Series can hinge on a single mistake or brilliant play.
But hey, no pressure.
Virginia's bats are rolling
The Cavaliers' confidence should be high, as the entire lineup has impressed through the first two games. They have 15 runs on 28 hits over the first two games, a hot streak that couldn't have come at a better time.
If the hit parade keeps rolling for Virginia, it could walk away with the championship thanks to a worn-out Vanderbilt pitching staff.
The Cavaliers' bullpen is rested
If both teams are forced to turn to their bullpen in a pinch, the advantage lies strongly with Virginia.
The Cavaliers have a well-rested bullpen thanks to a complete game from Brandon Waddell in Game 2, and will have all arms on deck should they need to be called upon in a pinch.
The extra rest for the Cavaliers bullpen is a dangerous thought. They own one of the strongest relief corps in all of college baseball, boasting three first-round draft picks and the third most strikeouts in the tournament.
On the other side, Vanderbilt has asked relievers to cover more than eight innings of relief through the first two games. While none of the arms used were particularly overworked, some rest is better than no rest.
