Los Angeles Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw already spent time on the disabled list this season with a back problem, and he had another close call prior to Wednesday's game with the New York Mets.

Kershaw's lucky he wasn't hit a few inches higher in the knee, which could have resulted in a serious injury. He fully expects to make his next start but may have a bone to pick with teammate Justin Turner, who sent the ball flying his way.
