Travis Snider replaced Jose Tabata in right field for the Pittsburgh Pirates after he left the second half of a Sunday's doubleheader vs. the New York Yankees with an apparent hamstring injury.
And he abruptly handed the Yankees a gift with an embarrassing defensive misplay that led to two runs.

This just adds to the frustration for Pirates fans who desperately want to see top prospect Gregory Polanco, who is tearing it up in the minors, called up to the big squad.
Is the combination of Tabata's injury and Snider's gaffe enough to persuade Bucs management to bite the bullet and call up the young outfielder ahead of the Super 2 deadline?
Probably not.
