Soroka (shoulder) said Monday that he expects to return following a minimum 15-day stint on the injured list, Jody Jackson of DBacks.tv reports.
Analysis:Soroka landed on the IL on Sunday due to inflammation in his right shoulder, and the hurler believes he's merely going through a "dead arm" phase. While the Diamondbacks have early optimism that the right-hander will be back on the active roster in two weeks, he will have to check several boxes of his rehab between now and then to make it a reality.
