Pierre Gasly: Claims Point for Alpine

Rotowire ·

Gasly finished 10th in the Dutch Grand Prix Formula 1 race at the Zandvoort Circuit on Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

The Alpine F1 veteran had a great start to the race and would climb from his initial P11 up to eighth-place in the early laps. However, his opening pit stop would cycle him back out into terrible mid-field traffic. Gasly would get stuck behind Arvid Lindblad and battle the Racing Bulls drivers for the remainder of the grand prix. Despite the fierce battle and setbacks, Gasly would soldier on to a respectable P10 and 1 point for Team Alpine.
