Agent Scott Boras refuted any trade speculation surrounding Minnesota Twins star shortstop Carlos Correa.

"The last time I talked to him, he told me the fishing was good," Boras, said Wednesday, according to Bobby Nightengale of the Minnesota Star Tribune. "So, yeah, he's happy there."

Twins president of baseball operations Derek Falvey said teams had inquired about Correa's availability at the winter meetings, but the club would be seeking a "high bar" in any trade talks.

Correa is under contract through the end of the 2028 campaign as part of a six-year, $200-million deal he signed ahead of the 2023 season.

The 30-year-old hit .310/.388/.517 with 14 homers and 54 RBIs last season but played in only 86 games due to injuries.
