The Philadelphia Phillies aren't among the teams to offer superstar outfielder Juan Soto a contract, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

The Phillies also never met with Soto as he weighs his options in free agency, Gelb adds.

The New York Yankees, New York Mets, Boston Red Sox, Toronto Blue Jays, and Los Angeles Dodgers reportedly met with Soto and offered him contracts over $600 million.

Soto's agent, Scott Boras, said Tuesday that the 26-year-old has begun eliminating teams from the process.

The Phillies are projected to enter the 2025 campaign with a starting outfield of Johan Rojas in center, Brandon Marsh in left, and Nick Castellanos in right.
