The Atlanta Braves non-tendered right-hander Griffin Canning, the club announced Friday.

The Braves also non-tendered outfielder Ramón Laureano, right-hander Huascar Ynoa, right-hander Royber Salinas, and left-hander Ray Kerr.

The move to non-tender Canning comes on the heels of the Braves acquiring the 28-year-old from the Los Angeles Angels for Jorge Soler on Oct. 31.

Canning was projected to earn $5.1 million in his final year of arbitration before free agency, according to MLB Trade Rumors. He posted a 6-13 record with a 5.19 ERA and 130 strikeouts across 171 2/3 innings for the Angels in 2024.
