The speckles are colored like the seats of Dodger Stadium in yellow, orange, teal, and blue, along with a hint of red as a nod to the numbers on the front of the Dodgers' primary uniforms.
"Los Angeles is a city of dreamers," the team said. "A place where people come to pursue greatness. A city filled with people shooting for the stars, chasing what many believe to be impossible. A place where dreams can turn into reality."

Name plates are also underneath the numbers in a departure from traditional jerseys. The bottoms of the numbers on the back are slightly cut off to accommodate player names. Also, players who wear single-digit numbers, like Freddie Freeman's No. 5, have zeros added in front.
These new uniforms will make their on-field debut June 21 against the Los Angeles Angels.
The Dodgers are the first team to have a second City Connect jersey after the club released blue "Los Dodgers" uniforms in 2021.
