San Francisco Giants outfielder Jung Hoo Lee needs surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder and will miss the remainder of the season, per NBC Sports' Alex Pavlovic.
Giants president of baseball operations Farhan Zaidi said this will be Lee's second shoulder surgery, but doctors are confident he'll make a full recovery in about six months, per Pavlovic.
Lee suffered the injury while trying to make a catch in a game against the Cincinnati Reds on May 12.

The Giants signed Lee to a six-year, $113-million contract in the offseason after a successful career in the KBO.
Lee finishes his rookie campaign hitting .262 with two home runs, eight RBIs, 15 runs scored, and two stolen bases in 37 games.
The Giants have started Luis Matos in center field in Lee's absence. The 22-year-old is hitting .310 with five RBIs and four runs scored across eight games this season.
