Frazier spent the 2023 season with the AL East champion Baltimore Orioles. The 32-year-old slashed .240/.300/.396 with 13 home runs, 59 runs scored, and 60 RBIs across 141 games for the Orioles.
Frazier primarily plays second base but is also capable of playing either corner outfield spot.

The Royals have had a busy offseason, also acquiring outfielder Hunter Renfroe, starting pitchers Seth Lugo and Michael Wacha, and reliever Will Smith.
