The Los Angeles Dodgers brought out the star power in their meeting with star Japanese right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto.

Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, and Freddie Freeman were all present during the Dodgers' presentation to the coveted free agent at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday, sources told The Athletic's Fabian Ardaya and Ken Rosenthal.

Ohtani's 10-year, $700-million contract with the Dodgers was officially finalized Monday. The 29-year-old reportedly agreed to defer 97% of his salary until the end of his contract to allow the Dodgers financial flexibility to bring in more talent to the roster.

Yamamoto is one of the most sought after pitchers available in free agency. The 25-year-old enjoyed a spectacular seven-year career with NPB's Orix Buffaloes. Yamamoto won three straight Sawamura Awards as Japan's top pitcher and posted a sparkling 1.82 ERA in 172 career NPB appearances.

Yamamoto and Ohtani were teammates at the World Baseball Classic earlier this year, helping Japan win the championship.

The New York Yankees, New York Mets, Boston Red Sox, and San Francisco Giants are reportedly among the teams also showing interest in signing Yamamoto.
