Alonso (hand) is out of the lineup Saturday against the Dodgers.
Alonso's hand is still predictably sore following Friday's game, and he'll sit out Saturday as a result. The Padres welcomed back Kyle Blanks from the disabled list Saturday, so they'll have another option to cover for Alonso at first base if he's forced to miss further games.
