The Los Angeles Angels and left-handed reliever Adam Kolarek have agreed to a one-year, $900,000 contract, the team announced Sunday.
The 34-year-old threw six shutout innings last year between the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Mets, allowing two hits and one walk while striking out seven batters. He spent the majority of 2023 in the minors.
A seven-year veteran, Kolarek owns a 3.62 ERA and 4.09 FIP in 149 1/3 innings for his MLB career, including debuting with the Tampa Bay Rays and also making appearances for the Oakland Athletics.
Kolarek joins fellow southpaws José Suarez and Kenny Rosenberg in the Angels' projected bullpen for 2024.
