The New York Yankees' incredible 2022 season continues.

Giancarlo Stanton crushed the team's 57th homer in June during Wednesday's game against the Oakland Athletics, setting a new MLB record for the month.

The previous high of 56 was shared by the 2016 Baltimore Orioles and 2019 Atlanta Braves, according to MLB.com's Bryan Hoch.

Aaron Judge leads the club with 11 long balls this month, while Anthony Rizzo has nine and Stanton has eight.

The Yankees came into Wednesday's game with baseball's best record at 55-20. They lead the league in home runs with 126.
