Watch: Cardinals' Marmol goes ballistic after 1st career ejection
St. Louis Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol got his money's worth after getting ejected during the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Chicago Cubs.
Marmol, the sport's youngest manager at 35, went ballistic in the bottom of the seventh, arguing balls and strikes with home plate umpire Bruce Dreckman.

The animated argument came shortly after Cardinals shortstop and leadoff hitter Tommy Edman was rung up on a strike call that seemed well outside of the zone on a full count with the bases loaded and two out.
Marmol seemed to draw a line in the dirt where he believed the pitch from Cubs reliever Scott Effross missed.

It's the first career ejection for Marmol, who took over as Cardinals manager to start the season. The rookie skipper had helped lead St. Louis to a 30-22 record entering Saturday.
