The Texas Rangers have reportedly agreed on a two-year, $10-million contract with free-agent infielder Brad Miller, according to MLB Network's Jon Heyman.
Miller spent the 2021 season with the Philadelphia Phillies, hitting .227/.321/.453 with 20 home runs and 49 RBIs in 140 games.
The versatile 32-year-old, who can play first base, second base, shortstop, and outfield, will provide depth around the infield as well as a capable bat to complement the likes of Corey Seager and Marcus Semien.
Miller is a lifetime .239/.317/.425 hitter with 115 home runs and 367 RBIs in 947 games. The nine-year veteran has also made stops with the Seattle Mariners, Tampa Bay Rays, Milwaukee Brewers, Cleveland Guardians, and St. Louis Cardinals.
