The Colorado Rockies and shortstop Jose Iglesias are in agreement on a one-year, $5-million contract, a source told MLB.com's Mark Feinsand.
Iglesias appeared in 137 games last season split between the Los Angeles Angels and Boston Red Sox. He hit .271/.309/.391 with nine home runs, 27 doubles, and five stolen bases.
The 32-year-old is best known for his glove and will likely be the club's Opening Day shortstop following Trevor Story's departure to free agency.
