Thursday's Field of Dreams game between the New York Yankees and Chicago White Sox set in Iowa drew 5.9 million viewers across Fox and Fox Deportes, making it the most-watched regular-season baseball broadcast on any network since 2005, the network announced Friday.
It was also the most streamed regular-season baseball game in Fox Sports history.
Chicago and New York represented the bulk of viewership, with St. Louis, Hartford, and Kansas City rounding out the game's top five broadcast markets.
The White Sox won the inaugural contest in thrilling fashion when shortstop Tim Anderson stunned the Yankees with a walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth.
