The Milwaukee Brewers acquired left-handed reliever Daniel Norris from the Detroit Tigers in exchange for minor-league pitcher Reese Olson, the team announced Friday.

Norris, 28, has struggled in 2021 while posting a 5.89 ERA and 1.45 WHIP over 36 2/3 innings. He'll be a free agent after the season. A former starter, he was originally acquired from the Toronto Blue Jays as part of the return for David Price in 2015.

Olson, 21, owns a 4.30 ERA and 1.35 WHIP with 79 strikeouts over 69 innings in High-A this season.
