Toronto Blue Jays players are in disbelief of how easy everything seems for Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who pummelled his MLB-leading 19th home run Friday.

"We're over here playing on MVP mode and he's playing on Rookie mode," pitcher Ross Stripling said, according to Keegan Matheson of MLB.com. "It's just easy for him."

Guerrero, an early AL MVP favorite, is now hitting .336/.442/.664. He ranks first in MLB in on-base percentage, slugging percentage, wRC+, and RBIs while also sitting first in the Junior Circuit in batting average. If the season ended today, Guerrero would become the first Triple Crown winner since Miguel Cabrera in 2012.

While Guerrero's two-run homer gave the Jays a 5-1 lead, the Boston Red Sox stormed back to a 6-5 victory thanks to another shaky outing from Toronto's bullpen. The Red Sox are one game back of the first-place Tampa Bay Rays in the AL East, while the Jays sit in fourth.
