The Milwaukee Brewers and left-handed starter Brett Anderson are in agreement on a one-year, $2.5-million contract, sources told Jeff Passan of ESPN.
The deal reportedly includes an additional $1 million in incentives.
Anderson seemed to confirm the pact by adding "I throw baseballs for the Brewers if I pass my physical," to his Twitter bio:

Anderson, 33, played the 2020 season with the Brewers, posting a 4.21 ERA and 4.38 FIP over 47 innings, making 10 starts. The 12-year veteran has made appearances with five other teams, owning a career 4.06 ERA and 3.93 FIP in 186 starts and 12 relief appearances.
The veteran southpaw rejoins a rotation that Brandon Woodruff and Corbin Burnes lead, with the latter earning down-ballot NL Cy Young consideration last year. Anderson will be competing for a spot at the back of the rotation with Josh Lindblom, Adrian Houser, and fellow left-hander Eric Lauer.
