Twins trade LaMonte Wade to Giants for Shaun Anderson

The Minnesota Twins traded outfielder LaMonte Wade Jr. to the San Francisco Giants on Thursday for right-hander Shaun Anderson.
Wade appeared in 42 games with Minnesota over the last two seasons, hitting .211/.336/.347 with two home runs and 18 strikeouts across 113 plate appearances. The 27-year-old played all three outfield positions in addition to seeing time at first base.
Anderson made his major-league debut in 2019, logging 28 outings, including 16 starts. The 26-year-old pitched exclusively out of the bullpen in 2020, posting a 3.52 ERA, 1.44 WHIP, and 18 strikeouts in 15 1/3 innings.
