The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health announced five members of the Los Angeles Dodgers organization tested positive for COVID-19, according to USA Today's Josh Peter and Bob Nightengale.
Friday's news comes 10 days after the conclusion of the World Series. Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner was removed from the decisive Game 6 after testing positive but re-entered the field to celebrate with his teammates.
It's unclear whether Turner is included in the tally, Peter and Nightengale add. The majority of Dodgers personnel who tested positive reportedly weren't inside the postseason bubble.
"The Dodgers organization continues to work with us during this ongoing outbreak investigation," the health department told USA Today.
Major League Baseball completed an investigation into Turner's return to the field, concluding Friday that the former All-Star would not be punished.
