Dodgers' Seager leaves game with lower back discomfort

Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager left Friday's game against the San Francisco Giants during the third inning after experiencing lower back discomfort, the team announced, according to Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times.

The 26-year-old missed time earlier this season due to a quad injury, but he wasn't placed on the injured list.
He's still been one of the league's hottest hitters. Including Friday's action before being removed, the shortstop has hit .340/.389/.600 with three homers and 10 runs scored in 13 games.
Enrique Hernandez entered the contest to cover second base while Chris Taylor moved over to short.
