Trout's mom: If Mike can wear a mask while running bases, so can you
Major League Baseball players began reporting to camp this past week and a picture of Los Angeles Angels superstar Mike Trout running the bases while wearing a medical mask started making its rounds.
The picture led Trout's mother, Debbie, to implore others to wear masks in their daily lives:

Trout, whose wife, Jessica, is pregnant with the couple's first child, shared his trepidation about playing this season amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic on Friday, stating the health of his family is his "top priority."
Wearing a mask in public has become a popular way to help prevent the spread of coronavirus. However, many people have protested the use of masks, including Scottsdale City Councilman Guy Phillips, who San Francisco Giants president of baseball operations Farhan Zaidi openly scorned.
