Home plate umpire Gabe Morales tossed Harper in the bottom of the fourth inning with Rhys Hoskins at the dish. Harper was arguing about the called third strike from his at-bat immediately prior to Hoskins stepping in.
It's the 13th ejection of Harper's career, and second of the season, according to Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Kapler was forced to hit the showers as well as he defended his player against the questionable call. This was Kapler's fourth ejection of the season.
Jose Pirela took over for Harper in right field the following inning.
