Judge promises elderly fan a HR, promptly delivers

Prior to Sunday's series finale against the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge spoke with an elderly fan in the stands. At the end of their conversation, Judge said he'd hit a home run for him.

Judge lived up to his word and cranked a solo home run off Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw in the top of the third inning.

It marked Judge's 16th home run of the season and 99th of his career - matching the number he dons on his back.

After Sunday's contest, Judge joked he might have to invite the fan - who, it turns out, is the father of Yankees bullpen catcher Jason Brown - to more games as a good-luck charm, according to Bryan Hoch of MLB.com.

The 27-year-old appears to be heating up after hitting a home run in all three games of the Players' Weekend series against the Dodgers.
