Even though Trevor Bauer only moved to another part of Ohio, it's apparently been a world of difference for the mercurial right-hander.
"The information is great here, the coaching staff is great here," Bauer said. "I'm a lot happier here than I was. Sometimes you don't realize how unhappy you are in a situation until you're out of it. ... I miss some of my teammates and stuff, but overall I don't really miss a whole lot about Cleveland."
While it appears Bauer's introduction to Cincinnati and the Reds organization has gone smoothly since he was acquired in a three-team trade at the end of July, his results on the field have been shaky.
In five starts with Cincinnati, Bauer has gone 1-3 with a 7.62 ERA. That includes a disastrous outing on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Pirates that saw him allow eight runs (seven earned) on eight hits across three innings of work.
