With the 13th pick of the 2019 MLB amateur draft, the Minnesota Twins selected Keoni Cavaco, a third baseman out of California.
Cavaco, who just turned 18 before the draft, is the most highly touted prospect out of Eastlake High School since Adrian Gonzalez was taken first overall in 2000.
Cavaco's skills are balanced across the board. He pairs great foot speed with a strong enough arm to stick at third base and possesses solid power at the plate.
