MLB announces 2019 All-Star starters
Major League Baseball announced the 2019 All-Star starters Wednesday as voted on by the fans.
It was the first year the league held a Starters Election, which began with a primary and was followed by fans voting for the starter from a final group of three at each infield position, and the top nine outfielders.
Pitchers and reserves for each league will be announced Sunday at 5:30 p.m. ET, and the 90th MLB All-Star Game takes place July 9 in Cleveland.
