Chicago Cubs outfielder Kyle Schwarber didn't agree with the game-ending call that he swung his bat on strike three. He was furious, threw his helmet, and charged toward third base umpire Gabe Morales to argue his case.

It didn't matter, as the Los Angeles Angels won the game 6-5.

Teammate Javier Baez had to forcefully hold Schwarber back, and he didn't have the easiest time of it.

"He's a pretty big dude," Baez said, according to Jordan Bastian of MLB.com. "And he played football. I never played football in my life. He kind of took me with him, but I held him pretty good."

Schwarber took issue with the umpire's apparent inconsistency at judging his check swing, as a previous pitch in the at-bat was called a ball.

"I took a look at (the replay) and if I didn't go the first time, I didn't go the second time," Schwarber said, according to Tony Andracki of NBC Chicago. "If you're not 100 percent sure, you can't call it.

"Obviously I was frustrated. Who's not gonna be frustrated when they end the game like that and you're that close to sniffing out a run? Frustrating. I just don't think it was a good call."

The Cubs had already scrambled for a run in the ninth inning and had runners on second and third with Schwarber at the dish. The loss dropped Chicago to 5-9 on the season.
