Watch: Rapper Nelly offers to negotiate with Harper for Cardinals

Rapper Nelly wants the St. Louis Cardinals to sign free-agent outfielder Bryce Harper so badly that he's willing to personally take on negotiations.

The St. Louis resident posted to his Instagram on Sunday, pleading with Cardinals president Bill DeWitt III to let him take a crack at Harper while the two were hanging out in Las Vegas.

Harper was in his hometown Vegas to catch Nelly and Florida Georgia Line in concert, according to Eric Chesterton of Cut 4.

While Cardinals fans may be justifiably excited, they may have to temper expectations, as Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant, who may be recruiting him for his own squad, joined Harper for the show.
