The Dark Knight won't be returning to Gotham.
Matt Harvey was traded from the New York Mets to the Cincinnati Reds in May after an extensive fallout with his former team. Now, as a pending free agent, he was asked about his options heading into the offseason.
"There's only one team out there I would not sign with. That's about it," Harvey told ESPN, referring to the Mets.
The veteran added he'd be interested in re-signing with the Reds.
"They brought me here, and they gave me the ball every fifth day. So it was something I'm very happy about and taking into consideration, and we'll see what happens moving forward," he said.
Harvey made 28 starts after his move to Cincinnati, posting a 7-7 record with a 4.50 ERA. The 29-year-old was drafted seventh overall by the Mets in 2010, and he developed into an All-Star by 2013 before numerous injuries and a suspension for violating team rules tarnished his image in New York.
