New York Yankees first baseman Greg Bird isn't sweating a series of critical tweets from former teammate Tyler Austin's dad.
Since Austin was dealt to the Minnesota Twins, where he's hit .370 with three homers in eight games with the team, his father, Chris, has gone online to bash Bird on numerous occasions.

Bird claimed he hadn't heard from Austin or seen the tweets.
"I was at the zoo holding monkeys on my off day having a great time," Bird said, according to NJ Advance Media's Randy Miller.
Austin told his dad to take down the tweets - which he did - and called his father's behavior "embarrassing."
Bird, for his part, says there's no hard feelings between him and his former teammate.
"Parents ... people get emotional about those things and they say stuff," Bird said. "Those things happen, but it doesn't change my opinion of Tyler.
"I've seen a lot of what he's been through and he's seen a lot of what I've been through, so I'm excited to see him in Minnesota when we go there next month."
The Yankees slugger has appeared in just 71 games for New York this season, hitting .206 with 11 home runs and 36 RBIs.
