The Baltimore Orioles could finally be prepared to move their biggest trade chip.

With a little less than three weeks to go before the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline, the Orioles are reportedly making progress in trade talks involving the five-time All-Star and are motivated to get a deal done as soon as possible, according to Buster Olney of ESPN.

Olney adds that the Philadelphia Phillies and Milwaukee Brewers appear to be among the finalists. It was reported earlier this week that the New York Yankees made a strong offer for Machado, and the Phillies reportedly upgraded their initial offer. Milwaukee has had significant interest in Machado but are said to be unwilling to include top prospect Corbin Burnes.

The Orioles are reportedly seeking a top-100 prospect as well as two additional solid prospects in return for the impending free agent. In 94 games this season, Machado is hitting .313/.383/.568 with 23 home runs, 21 doubles and 64 RBIs.
