The Chicago Cubs southpaw dominated the Brewers in Saturday's 3-0 victory, limiting them to two hits and a walk over seven scoreless innings. He lowered his season's earned run average to 5.74.

And while it's the second time already this season that Quintana has twirled a gem against the dreaded division rival, his success against the Brewers dates even further back.

In fact, Quintana threw a complete-game, three-hit shutout in his final start against the Brewers in 2017. To find his last moment of adversity against the Brew Crew, you have to go back to July 27, 2017, where he allowed a run to score on a fielder's choice in the fourth inning. It was the second run allowed in that game. Since then, he's been spotless in 24 consecutive innings.

The Brewers get an extended break from the Cubs after Sunday's series finale, and won't have to worry about Quintana until a three-game series from June 11-13 at Miller Park.
