Lovullo-Yadi blowup sparks benches-clearing incident
St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina didn't appreciate Torey Lovullo's remarks to home-plate umpire Tim Timmons following his second-inning ejection from Sunday's series finale, exploding at the Arizona Diamondbacks manager and sparking a benches-clearing incident at Busch Stadium.

Lovullo, who was tossed after A.J. Pollock was rung up on a borderline pitch, pointed at Molina as he barked at Timmons, and the eight-time All-Star became incensed, shouting back at Lovullo before charging at him and even pushing Timmons in his attempt to get at Arizona's manager. The benches and bullpens then emptied, but the situation was quickly defused, with Molina being restrained by Cardinals manager Mike Matheny. Molina was not ejected.
